Saturday night the festival on Virginia Key caused a traffic nightmare for anyone trying to get to or from the Key.
The County has already turned the Seaquarium over to a private developer, and now The City of Miami commission wants to turn the Marine Stadium over to a private developer/operator for 40 years. As such, this traffic chaos is likely to become a regular event.
These developments might be good for the County and the City of Miami’s coffers, but it’s hard to see any upside for the Key.
