TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man has been arrested in connection to a Christmas Eve shooting, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
Damien Johnson, 22, is charged with attempted second degree murder.

According to TPD, officers responded to a shooting near Ocala Road and West Tennessee Street around 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 24.
The victim, who police found suffering from several gunshot wounds, had driven himself to a nearby Waffle House where bystanders called for help.
Investigators discovered he had been shot while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex within the 2000 block of Continental Drive, according to TPD.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was unable to provide a statement to investigators for several weeks.
TPD said evidence indicated Johnson found the victim parked in the vehicle, fired multiple rounds and left the scene.
Johnson was arrested on Wednesday.
