ST. PETE BEACH — The St. Pete Beach Public Library set its schedule of upcoming events.

• Tuesdays, 10 a.m.: Story Time! This lively story time is perfect for children ages 5 and under and their caregivers. Explore stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and support motor development.

• Thursday, March 5, 10 a.m.: Boogie & Bubbles. Twenty minutes of music and movement. Great for ages 2-5.

• Thursday, March 5, 4 p.m.: Brendan Nolan — Exploring Irish Culture in Song and Story. A very special performance with Brendan Nolan.

• Friday, March 6, noon: Feature Film – See spblibrary.com for movie details.

• Saturday, March 7, 11 a.m.: Try out the library’s all-ages interactive projector game system, interactive lightboard, and interactive game table.

• Saturday, March 7, 2-4 p.m.: Tech Help — Get one-on-one help with technology basics and library-related app (no repairs). Mondays are a walk-in basis. Saturday Tech offers help to walk-ins, sign up for a 30-minute appointment at https://calendly.com/stpbeachlibrary/30min or call 727-363-9238.

Because this program occurs after regular library hours, all other library services will be suspended.

Gulf Beaches library sets events

• Writers Group: Mondays, 10 a.m.-noon

• Library App Help: Wednesdays, 2-3 p.m. For help with Libby, Kanopy, and Hoopla.

• International Movie: Wednesday, March 11, at 2 p.m. — ‘The First Signature for Rana.’

• Mahjong: Thursdays, 11 a.m. Old and new members welcome.

• Investment Club: Thursdays, 2:30-4 p.m.

• Meditation: Fridays, 11 a.m.-noon. Relax and rejuvenate at the end of the week.

• Scrabble: Fridays, 1-4 p.m.

• Storytime: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. Ages 2 and under; Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Ages 2-4.

• Book Club: Tuesday, March 17, at 10:30 a.m. — ‘Hamnet’ by Maggie O’Farrell.

• Adult Art Class: Tuesday, March 17, from 5-7:30 p.m. Watercolor class with artist Deb Barnard. All materials will be provided. Registration required.

• Sound Bath Meditation: Saturday, March 28, from noon to 1 p.m. Led by Tamara Rokicki, a certified Sound Healing and Meditation Practitioner. The library is currently taking gently used donations of books; no textbooks.

Have a conversation with the mayor

MADEIRA BEACH — The next “Conversations with the Mayor” event will be held Tuesday, March 24, at the Madeira Beach Municipal Marina, 503 150th Ave.

This is a casual open discussion with city leadership. Ask questions, share ideas and stay informed about what’s happening on Madeira Beach.

Networking begins at 5 p.m. with conversation beginning at 6 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public.
