Quote of the Day

The Florida House recently approved a bill aimed at limiting the power of homeowners associations, addressing concerns about their excessive authority.
Sponsored by State Rep. Juan Porras, the bill seeks to streamline dispute resolution by creating a state-run court for HOA issues.
It also proposes allowing residents to dissolve their HOAs with a super majority vote, which critics fear may place an additional burden on local governments.
The bill faces a challenging path in the state Senate, where its companion legislation must pass for it to reach Gov. Ron DeSantis.
