Crash happened near Garage B
ORLANDO, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck and killed early Friday at Orlando International Airport, according to the Orlando Police Department.
Police responded to the wreck around 12:36 a.m. on Jeff Fuqua Boulevard near Airport Boulevard near Garage B.
The pedestrian, whose name and age was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority said the garage was closed but it has since reopened along with the northbound lanes of Jeff Fuqua Boulevard.
An investigation is ongoing.
