WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale was arrested after she allegedly punched a man inside Miami’s E11even nightclub, an arrest report said.
Ogunbowale, 29, was arrested Thursday on a battery charge for the alleged incident that happened at the club on Northeast 11th Street, the report said.
According to the report, the victim said he was trying to escort Ogunbowale out of the establishment due to an altercation when she punched him in the face with a closed fist, causing him to fall to the ground.
Ogunbowale was taken into custody, and surveillance footage confirmed the victim’s version of events, the report said.
Ogunbowale was a first-round draft pick by the Dallas Wings and is a four time WNBA All-Star.
