It’s almost that time of year when alarms are turned off, backpacks stay in the corner and the beaches finally call.

While teachers may still be handing out assignments, the Tampa Bay area is certainly getting ready for this year’s spring break season. Local law enforcement is already preparing for an influx of people out-and-about, and Tampa International Airport is expecting about 3.1 million passengers through mid-April.
