A Brightline train struck and killed a pedestrian early Sunday in Fort Lauderdale. The crash was along the 700 block of North Andrews Avenue around 1:30 a.m. It was just north of the Brightline station.The man was still alive and pinned under the train when Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue personnel arrived, spokesman Frank Guzman said.
