Construction Ready’s CareerEXPO returns to Florida March 31 and April 1. The 2026 CareerEXPO & SkillsUSA State Championships will provide hands-on learning for thousands of Florida’s K-12 and college students, connecting them with professionals in the skilled trades and career pathways shaping the state’s future workforce. 

More than 3,000 students are expected, along with hundreds of representatives from companies in the skilled trades, colleges, universities, and workforce organizations.

Why: Florida faces a growing demand for skilled workers as more employees retire than enter the workforce. Closing this skills gap requires early exposure, real-world learning, and clear career pathways. Construction Ready’s CareerExpo is designed to meet that need — giving students hands-on access to careers that are essential, in demand, and built for what’s next.
