The city of Cape Coral is inviting residents to help shape the future of one of the community’s most recognizable landmarks, the Old Golf Course property.

A public meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m., at the Public Works Operations Center at 815 Nicholas Parkway. The purpose of the meeting is to gather ideas and input for transforming the Old Golf Course site into a vibrant, inclusive park that will serve current and future generations.

During this hands-on session, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the site’s history and current conditions through a brief presentation.

• Take part in a visual preference activity to share their creative design ideas.

• Engage in an interactive exercise to identify which park features and activities are most meaningful to them.

All residents are encouraged to attend, share their ideas and connect with neighbors as Cape Coral plans its next great park. Help shape the future of this beloved community space.
