TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Students at Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts are bringing imagination to the stage with their production of “Matilda the Musical Jr.”
The production is based on the novel Matilda by Roald Dahl and adapted from the Tony Award–winning Broadway production.
The story follows an extraordinary young girl armed with a vivid imagination and brilliant intellect who dares to stand up to the tyrannical Miss Trunchbull and take control of her own destiny.
Auria Flack, who plays Matilda, Rhema Isham, who plays Miss Honey, and Bryan Mitchell, the director, joined us to discuss upcoming performances

Performances are set for Tuesday, March 10 and Thursday, March 12 at Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts. Both performances start at 6:30 p.m.
