Above normal temperatures with near record highs across the interior – Orlando Sentinel

It’s going to be a hot Monday in Central Florida with temperatures near record highs.

Temperatures will be in the high 80s for metro Orlando, with temperatures in the mid 80s for the southern parts of the region, according to NWS Melbourne.

Isolated showers and storms are possible in the afternoon, but are expected to be primarily south of Cape Canaveral.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at all Central Florida Atlantic beaches.
