Dozens gather at Cascades Park for International Women’s Day to speak about nationwide injustices

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Dozens gathered at Cascades Park for International Women’s Day, speaking out about nationwide injustices and calling for change.

Freedom Road Socialist Organization came together to speak out about immigration policies and women’s rights, while also honoring the contributions women have made throughout history.

Delilah Pierre, president of Tally CAC, shared the message they hope to convey through this movement.

“Our message today is to stand with immigrant women,” she said.

Organizers said they will continue to speak out and fight for the change they want to see.
