Hialeah-Miami Lakes won the last time they faced Miami Country Day and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Spartans. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Hialeah-Miami Lakes saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Felix Puello, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases. That’s the most stolen bases Puello has posted since back in March of 2025.
Puello wasn’t the only one making solid contact: Hialeah-Miami Lakes kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team’s really been improving in that area: they’ve now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
