CAPE CORAL, Fla.—The Cape Coral police and fire departments are on scene rescuing a construction worker trapped under a pipe.
Law enforcement responded to the construction site located on 2505 SW Third Ave at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday.

Currently, Urban Search and Rescue, Lee County Emergency Medical Services, the fire department and the police department are responding to this scene.

It remains unclear how the worker became trapped underneath the pipe.
