Central Florida 18-year-old accused of raping panhandler

  • March 9, 2026

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old was arrested on Friday evening after being accused of raping a panhandler in Orlando, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

In an arrest affidavit, deputies said that the victim had been panhandling in the median outside of a Circle K gas station along North Goldenrod Road.

However, she was soon picked up by an unknown driver — later identified as Jamarcus Giscombe, 18 — and taken behind a nearby Nissan dealership, deputies added.

“While inside of the vehicle, [REDACTED] asked the unknown male why they were at the Nissan dealership,” the affidavit reads. “He told her that she was going to suck his (expletive). She said no. He began to hit her multiple times.”

She was able to escape via the car’s front door, but he soon attacked her again and ripped off her clothes before raping her, the affidavit states.

Afterward, he reportedly ran back to his car, and the victim fled to another gas station while injured and completely nude, prompting the 911 call, investigators explained.

However, it turned out that the vehicle involved in the sexual battery may have been stolen, and blood inside the vehicle linked Giscombe to both crimes, deputies stated.

During an interview with Giscombe, he told detectives that the panhandler had initially offered him sexual services. But after they arrived at the dealership, she told him he would need to pay her, which he refused, deputies learned.

Despite not paying, Giscombe still had sex with her, and she struck him afterward, which sparked a fight, Giscombe allegedly claimed.

“Jamarcus confirmed he was ‘thinking with (his) penis,’ he confirmed he understood he could not have sex with somebody if they did not want to have sex with him, and he confirmed it would not happen again,” the affidavit continues.

Now, Giscombe faces charges of sexual battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, aggravated battery with great bodily harm, and grand theft of a vehicle. He is held without bond.
