LaFleur said Giblin claimed to be an at-home caregiver and was only living with Bradley for a week before his death. “Within two or three days, she started doing some strange things. She lied to him about a few things,” LaFleur said. “He caught that right away. So yesterday, he, from what I’ve been told, he, which sounds like Paul, he said to her, ‘You have to leave. You have to be out by 4.’ And it appears that shortly after his, when shortly after he told her that is when she murdered him.”Jody Scharping said she was saddened by the news of Bradley’s death. Paul wanted to mentor them, came over, asked if it was okay that, you know, he seen something in him and things like that,” Scharping said. “Every time you turn around, you would see him trying to help somebody in the best way that he possibly could.”Both LaFleur and Scharping said they hope Giblin is held responsible for killing their friend, who they said had a heart of gold. “That was a damn good man, abetter man than I’ll ever be, for sure,” LaFleur said. “A veteran. Our veterans deserve better than this.”Giblin was arrested and she is facing charges of non-premeditated murder and grand theft of a motor vehicle.
