Florida State football will be without three players for spring practice, as defensive linemen Jordan Sanders and Cam Brooks, alongside quarterback Jaden O’Neal, are all out, according to head coach Mike Norvell.
In a press conference after the first day of spring practice on March 9, Norvell confirmed the trio will miss action.

Brooks suffered an Achilles injury in winter workouts, while O’Neal came to campus with a knee injury that required surgery, which will keep him out for the season.
Sanders is a new addition to the injury list, though Norvell said he doesn’t expect him to be out long-term.
“We are expecting Jordan to be back this summer. … Cam will probably be a little bit more extensive, probably get a look at it midway through the season. Definitely have a plan right now, looking at four games for him,” Norvell said. “Jaden O’Neal will miss this upcoming fall.”
Sanders transferred in from Texas State, where he had a productive campaign, recording 16 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Brooks is a freshman from Thomas County Central, and he had earned praise from the coaching staff for his performances in winter workouts before his injury.

O’Neal was a 4-star quarterback signee from Mustang in Oklahoma, and he threw for 2,622 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior. Norvell said he’s progressing in his recovery and has been active in meetings as he continues to learn the Seminoles offense.
