ESTERO, Fla. (WINK)—The Lee County Port Authority announced an update regarding terminal roadway improvements at Southwest Florida International Airport.
On Tuesday, RSW will reopen its pedestrian bridge/crosswalk 2, which has been out of service, along with crosswalk 6
Pedestrian bridge/crosswalk 5 and crosswalk 1 will remain closed.
According to the port authority, the only crosswalks for passengers, visitors, and employees to transit from the terminal building to the short-term parking garage, car rental facility, and all ground transportation options, including shuttles to the long-term parking lot, will be crosswalk 2 on the upper level and crosswalks 2 and 6 on the lower level.

Travelers are encouraged to arrive early when using the airport’s short-term parking garage and ground transportation.
Drivers may want to drop off passengers at the terminal curb before parking in the garage.
