Beginning on March 9th at 12:00 PM ET, the NFL’s legal tampering period opens, allowing teams to negotiate with outside free agents. On March 11th at 4:00 PM ET, the new league year begins, and any agreed-upon deals can then become official.
In addition to GM James Gladstone making any outside additions or re-signing his own free agents, there is also still work to be done with the salary cap.

In the days leading up to free agency, Cameron Wolfe is reporting that the Jaguars have made a “strong push” to re-sign Brown. However, Brown is expected to have a relatively strong market and must decide whether or not he wants to test it.
“He is the guy that the Jaguars like a lot coming off a very strong year,” Cameron Wolfe said of Brown on Sunday. “They are also making a strong push late in the week to try to re-sign him before he hits free agency.”
Possible landing spots for Devin Lloyd, Montaric Brown
ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler mentioned the Panthers as a good fit for Lloyd and the 49ers as a team to watch with Brown.
Travis Etienne’s market
Jeremy Fowler is hearing that the top of the running back market could be in the $12 million per year range. It is expected that Kenneth Walker will lead the way, but Etienne may not be too far behind. Denver and Kansas City are two interested teams, according to Fowler.
