Approaching cold front will bring rain and then cooler temps

  • March 11, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Our string of warm days will continue a bit longer, with low 60s on Wednesday morning and low to mid 80s in the afternoon, with only a small chance for a stray afternoon or evening shower.

However, a Thursday cold front will bring rain and a few thunderstorms in the morning through early afternoon, followed by cooler and drier conditions Thursday night into Friday and Saturday.

Lows Friday morning will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s, then top out in the mid 70s Friday afternoon with plenty of sunshine. By Sunday, a few showers are possible, and a better chance of rain is expected by Monday.

A stronger shot of cool air will follow that, with lows near 40 by next Tuesday morning.
