The Sanibel Captiva Republican Caucus will hold its next meeting of the season on March 21 at 10 a.m. at the Sanibel Public Library, at 770 Dunlop Road, Sanibel.

The guest speakers will be city of Sanibel Mayor Mike Miller and Lee County Commissioner Patricia “Trish” Petrosky.

Miller will address issues that are currently affecting the city, such as the status of the proposed Periwinkle Way/Causeway Boulevard roundabout, Sanibel’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the city’s budget.

Petrosky was appointed in December to the District 5 seat on the Lee County Board of County Commissioners following the passing of Commissioner Mike Greenwell. She will speak about issues impacting the county’s infrastructure, property tax pressures and transportation needs.

Refreshments will be served.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
