DISH drops WCTV from its service

  • March 11, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – DISH Network customers lost access to WCTV on Tuesday, March 10 after a renewal agreement was not reached.

This means DISH customers no longer have access to CBS programming and WCTV Eyewitness News.

If you’re a DISH customer, you can still let them know you want WCTV and the shows and news you love returned to their lineup by contacting them at 800-333-3474.

DISH has often disrupted access to local television stations in recent years, but viewers have options through other services. Those include DIRECTV, your local cable company, along with streaming services like YouTube TV, Hulu Live and Fubo.

WCTV is always available for free if you use an antenna. You can also see our newscasts by downloading our free streaming apps for Android, Roku, Fire and Apple TV. Just search WCTV or click here.

To keep up with the latest news as it develops, follow WCTV on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Nextdoor and X (Twitter).
