JetBlue is upgrading its Fort Lauderdale flight schedule.
BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2026 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) is expanding its dominance at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) through additional and upgraded routes.
Leading the update is the transition of the Fort Lauderdale to Jacksonville (JAX) route. Previously restricted to peak spring break travel, the airline will now offer daily, year-round flying between Northeast and South Florida. This provides a consistent bridge for business and leisure travelers who previously had to rely on seasonal windows.
JetBlue is also boosting capacity to major hubs in Texas and Florida, as well as increasing its footprint in South America. Starting June 18, both Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Tampa (TPA) will see their schedules jump from once-daily to twice-daily year-round service.
On the international front, service to Cartagena, Colombia (CTG) will expand from four flights per week to daily service beginning June 11.
The following table shows the service enhancements scheduled for this summer:

“These additions reflect the strength of demand we’re seeing in Fort Lauderdale,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s senior vice president of revenue, network, and enterprise planning. “We’re proud to continue investing in Fort Lauderdale with more year-round flying and added frequencies.”
The airline’s history with FLL runs deep; Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue’s very first destination. In the 26 years since its inaugural flight, the carrier has grown to serve dozens of nonstop destinations. In just the last 12 months, JetBlue has added 20 additional destinations to its FLL roster, maintaining its position as the airline with the most departures at the airport.
