DAYTONA BEACH, FL – The Lenoir-Rhyne women’s lacrosse team dropped at 17-6 contest at #6 Embry Riddle on Wednesday. 

Kirra Olson led the Bears with three goals, her 18th career hat trick.

STORY OF THE GAME


Embry Riddle scored four consecutive goal to open the game before an unassited score from Kirra Olson stopped the bleeding.
The Eagles led 7-2 after one.
There were just four combined goals in the second quarter and Embry Riddle went into the break ahead 9-2.
Lenoir-Rhyne made it a five-goal game thanks to scores from Savannah Stallings and Kirra Olson.
Embry Riddle answered by scoring six of the final seven goals of the game.

NEXT UP: The Bears will stay in the Sunshine State on Saturday to take on #2 Florida Southern. The Mocs are 6-1 on the year and defeated Lander 16-3 last Thursday. The game is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. from Lakeland, Florida.
