Several South Florida cities striking up the band for St. Patrick’s Day parades and festivals this weekend. Hollywood Spokeswoman Arlene Borenstein says this is the city’s biggest event of the year. It’s free and family friendly. Following the parade through downtown Hollywood Sunday, they will have live music along the circle. Some roads will be closed off, so avoid driving there if possible. Ft. Lauderdale is hosting its parade from 11 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the Tunnel Top Plaza at Las Olas and Southeast sixth Avenue.
