Crews responded to the fire Friday at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club along Interbay Boulevard.
TAMPA, Fla. — A multi-vessel fire sent a plume of smoke into the air on Friday night in Tampa.
Just after 7:30 p.m., crews responded to the fire at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club along Interbay Boulevard. A video provided to 10 Tampa Bay News shows a boat engulfed in flames as it’s docked.Â
Fire rescue officials said the boat of origin was fully involved in flames coming from the interior cabin. Due to the intensity of the fire, it spread to an adjacent vessel.
Both boats were confirmed to be unmanned at the time of the incident. A third unoccupied vessel also reportedly sustained minor damage due to heat exposure.
Crews were able to contain the fire and protect nearby boats. As of 9 p.m., fire rescue officials said the scene is under control.Â
No injuries have been reported.Â
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
