TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One Frenchtown nonprofit is calling on the public to help feed families in need this Thanksgiving.
Project Annie founder, Annie Johnson, said more people are expected to attend her annual Frenchtown Thanksgiving Feast this year, especially if the federal government shutdown continues.
Last year, Johnson’s team served more than 2,000 meals to local families. She said that number could easily grow as more people face financial uncertainty.
