Tampa Bay’s LGBTQIA+ and ally community gathered at Bradley’s on 7th last night for the Watermark OUT News WONDER Awards party. The WONDER Awards, short for the Watermark OUT News Diversity, Excellence & Resilience Awards, honor the people, organizations, and businesses that make a meaningful impact across the community.
The Ybor City venue was buzzing with energy as friends, supporters, and community leaders packed the space. Bradley’s on 7th is known for its welcoming atmosphere and long-standing role in Tampa Bay’s LGBTQIA+ nightlife. The bar proved to be the perfect place to host a night dedicated to community recognition and celebration.
Among the winners was WMNF’s Big Gay Radio Show. The team took home the WONDER Award for Favorite Local Radio Show / Podcast for the fourth year. Produced entirely by volunteers, the show works to bring listeners the latest news and stories from Tampa Bay’s LGBTQIA+ community.
The WONDER Awards continue to be one of the community’s most anticipated annual celebrations, shining a spotlight on the people and places that help shape LGBTQIA+ life in Tampa Bay. An event also happened on Thursday March 12th, at Anthem Orlando, to honor Central Florida Winners.
