JSO dismantles Grand Park drug trafficking organization involving 5 brothers

  • March 14, 2026

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a six-month investigation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it dismantled a drug-trafficking organization operating out of the Grand Park area, leading to the felony arrests of a 52-year-old man and five brothers.

Detectives identified four houses being used to sell illegal drugs in August 2025 and later tied those locations to Chaun Floyd, 52, and twin brothers Jamon and Jaron Wright, 33, the sheriff’s office said.

Federal partners were also tracking Floyd, and investigators teamed up with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the office said.

After months of surveillance and investigative work, law enforcement executed search warrants Feb. 20. The JSO SWAT team and DEA SWAT team hit all four locations simultaneously, the sheriff’s office said, joined by the JSO narcotics unit, District 1 bike squad and gang unit.

Detectives seized:

711 grams of powder cocaine

654 grams of crystal methamphetamine

9.2 grams of crack cocaine

More than 10 pounds of marijuana

Nine firearms, one reported stolen

More than $350,000 in cash

Two vehicles

Two necklaces valued at about $60,000

During the searches, the Wrights’ other brothers — Ronyeah, 30; Willie, 27; and Ahmed, 26 — were arrested on misdemeanor charges, the sheriff’s office said. Floyd was described as a close family friend of the Wrights.

Anyone with information about drug dealing in the community is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 904-630-0500. Tips can also be reported anonymously to First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
