TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Leon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested at least 18 people as a result of an undercover operation targeting prostitution and human trafficking, according to court records.
The operation was conducted in February and consisted of detectives posting advertisements on websites known to be used for prostitution and sex trafficking.

According to documents, once the suspects responded to the ad and set up a time to meet, who they believed was a 28-year-old woman, deputies arrested them at the arranged meeting place.
Those arrested all face multiple charges, including procuring or soliciting prostitution.
