STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — Detectives say a Guatemalan teen living in the U.S. illegally is behind bars after he downloaded multiple videos of children under 7 being sexually abused.

Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office say 18-year-old Erivaldo Francisco Argueta, also known as Pablo Ruiz Argueta, was illegally residing in the United States at the time of the incident, and is originally from Guatemala.

He was reportedly picked up after the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force contacted detectives with a tip, saying Argueta had downloaded multiple videos of children younger than 7-years-old being sexually assaulted.
