Florida State‘s search for a wide receiver commit in the 2027 cycle is intensifying. Sean Green, a three-star recruit from the state of Georgia, is one of the players they’re focusing on.

FSU won’t have an easy time winning this particular battle due to a certain SEC powerhouse also being involved according to Chad Simmons of Rivals.

Florida State and Georgia are making Sean Green feel like a top priority, and both programs currently sit at the top of his list. Green has official visits scheduled to Georgia on May 29 and Florida State on June 5. Before those trips, he will return to Athens on March 21 and April 18 and visit Florida State on March 30. The talented wide receiver on the Georgia coast is also working to line up spring visits to Alabama and Virginia.

Over the last two seasons, Green has been a productive player for Camden County High School. He racked up 48 receptions for 584 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore. In 2025, as a junior, Green put up 41 catches for 572 yards and nine touchdowns.

These next two visits with Green are of the utmost importance for Florida State in their pursuit of him, especially with Georgia also hosting him multiple times as well.

Green is the No. 385 overall player and the nation’s No. 52 wide receiver per the Rivals industry rankings. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder is also the No. 43 prospect out of Georgia.
