TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Governor Ron DeSantis announced a judicial appointment of a Tallahassee lawyer, according to the Governor’s office.
Andrew Sheeran will serve as a judge on the Second Judicial Circuit Court.
Sheeran has served as the attorney for the Florida Agency Health Care Administration since 2023. He also served as Deputy Counsel, Chief Litigation Counsel and as a senior attorney for AHCA.
He received his bachelor’s and law degree from the University of Florida, according to a press release from DeSantis’s office.
Sheeran’s appointment fills the vacancy created by Judge John Cooper’s retirement.
