Deputies in Florida deployed a grappler device after a driver attempted to flee a traffic stop in Town ‘N’ Country on Saturday, March 14.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said in a statement they stopped 38-year-old Danny Wilson III after he allegedly failed to come to a complete stop.
“During the stop, deputies learned the driver, Danny Wilson III, 38, had an out-of-county warrant related to unpaid child support,” the sheriff’s office said.

As police attempted to take him into custody, Wilson “sped away, weaving through traffic and driving at a high rate of speed.”
Police dashcam footage captured the brief chase, before officers deployed a grappler device that attached to the rear the vehicle and brought it to a stop.
