The 41st edition of the Miami Open returns to Hard Rock Stadium this week, hosting both singles and doubles brackets on outdoor hard courts. The ATP and WTA 1000 event has featured some of the biggest names in tennis over the years, from Steffi Graf and Serena Williams to Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
After just wrapping up the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells in California, star players Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner have the unique opportunity to achieve a “Sunshine Double” if they can take the trophy in Miami. Only a handful of athletes have completed the feat, with Steffi Graf being the first in 1994, and then again in 1996.
