There’s more to South Beach’s breakfast scene than Ocean Drive tourist traps charging $19 for an avocado toast (and that’s without the egg). Did you know that South Beach is home to the oldest Cuban restaurant in all of Miami, which is still around and curing hangovers today? There are also great bakeries, healthy options, and, of course, La Sandwicherie—where you probably just were four hours ago when the club closed. We’ll admit that the neighborhood doesn’t have Miami’s most exciting breakfast scene, but there’s also no reason you have to end up at Bacon Bitch.
