An annual fine arts tradition returns this weekend for its 67th year, drawing hundreds of artists and tens of thousands of visitors to Central Florida.

The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival returns March 20-22, with 221 artists from across the country showcasing sculpture, digital art, photography, leather, jewelry, wood, printmaking and more. The family-friendly festivities draw an estimated 250,000 to Park Avenue throughout the weekend.

The show ranks among the nation’s top outdoor art shows, with $76,500 in cash awards for artists. A $12,000 purchase award goes to the Best of Show winner, and the Patrons Program is expected to spend an additional $100,000 in Art Bucks to buy directly from artists.

The newest award, now in its 4th year, is The Monte Livermore Celebration of Nature Award, which awards $2,000 for an outstanding work of art featuring flowers, trees, plants and landscapes.

The 218 juried fine artists were chosen from a pool of 1,000 national and international applicants; the other three are emerging artists. The event also includes food and beverages, art from local schools, activities for children and live music.
