Perennially mentioned among the best prog-rock outfits in Florida, Anthill Cinema is moving closer to the final phases of its next album.

To get the effort over the finish line, the St. Petersburg experimental fusion septet needs a little scratch. Drums just wrapped tracking last month, according to a GoFundMe for the album, which said guitars, bass, and percussion still need to get on tape.

Ahead of its appearance at Spring Beer Jam 12 Anthill Cinema plays a fundraiser show at Gulfport’s haven for DIY out-of-the-box music, .
