FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WCTV) – A kicker for Florida State University was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, according to jail records.
Conor McAneney, a sophomore from Ireland, is charged with battery on an officer, resisting an officer, and trespassing.

According to Fort Lauderdale police, McAneney was arrested following a trespassing incident on South Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
While officers were trying to detain him, McAneney allegedly became “uncooperative and violent.”
He has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, according to Assistant Athletics Director Derek Satterfield.
Police said McAneney was visiting Fort Lauderdale on Spring Break.
