Fort Lauderdale police say they’ve made 35 spring break-related arrests and issued almost a thousand citations so far this season.

According to early data of March 2026, the arrests made by police included 10 spring breakers. Locals and other visitors accounted for the other 25 arrests.

Florida State University kicker Conor McAneney was among the spring breakers charged with the most serious crimes, including battery on an officer and trespassing, as he was being kicked out of a bar.
