Fort Lauderdale police say they’ve made 38 spring break-related arrests and issued more than a thousand citations so far this season.
According to early data of March 2026, the arrests made by police included 10 spring breakers. Locals and other visitors accounted for the other arrests.
Florida State University kicker Conor McAneney was among the spring breakers charged with the most serious crimes, including battery on an officer and trespassing, as he was being kicked out of a bar.
Another spring breaker was charged with burglary.

The other spring breakers were booked on charges that included underage drinking, public intoxication, trespassing and disorderly conduct. Most of the arrests took place along Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
Meanwhile, police issued 1,025 citations.
Police say Florida’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco has made 17 arrests so far.
