Construction progresses on Level99, a new challenge room experience coming later this year to Disney Springs.
Construction walls and planters continue to block the entrance to Level99. The walls are decorated with concept art for the upcoming location.
On the front side of the building, holes on the decorative facade have now been filled with steel in at least four spots behind the steel scaffolding.
Not all the holes have been filled yet, though, as there are still openings in the ceiling above the entrance.
Level99 is an “interactive, competitive social gaming venue for adults.” The Disney Springs location will have over 60 challenge rooms and duels. It will be able to host upwards of 1,000 players at a time. There will be a two-story bar serving handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and Level99’s signature Detroit-style pizza.
First announced last year, Level99 is set to open sometime in 2026. A permit was filed in February for installing exterior signage, suggesting Level99 is getting closer to opening. They began hiring an opening team last fall. Level99 replaces the former NBA Experience, which opened in 2019 to a poor reception and ultimately closed in 2020.
