Memorial service underway for Central Florida soldier killed in Iran War

The memorial service for U.S. Army Reserve Major Cody Khork, a Polk County servicemember killed in the Iran War, is underway.His remains were transported back home on Wednesday, led by a procession of deputies from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and partner agencies from Lakeland Linder Airport to Winter Haven.Khork was killed in the line of duty on March 1 in Kuwait.
