A man is facing serious charges after investigators say he attempted to meet an underage girl he believed was 13 years old, according to authorities. Police said the investigation began in July 2025, when undercover detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force began communicating with a man later identified as Roland Starling on a social media platform. Investigators said Starling believed he was speaking with a minor during the online conversations.
