TALLAHASSEE – Sophomore Sophia Fullbrook is in first place in the individual standings, and the No. 18 ranked Seminole women’s golf team is in first place in the team standings with one round remaining to be played at the Florida State Match up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club. Both Fullbrook and the Seminoles will play for championships in Sunday’s final round. Fullbrook will play for her first career individual championship while the Seminoles play for their second consecutive – and sixth overall – team championship at the Florida State Match Up.
Florida State’s Fullbrook (first), Elin Pudas Remler (tied for third), and Haruhi Nakatani (tied for third) give the Seminoles three of the top four players in the individual standings through two rounds of play.
Fullbrook carded a career-best score of 67 with six birdies and 17 holes scored at par or better and holds a four stroke lead over Jasmine Leovao of Eastern Michigan. Her score of 67 is tied for the 16th best single-round score in the 13-year history of the championship.

Including her score of 69 in the first round of the championship, Fullbrook has carded consecutive scores in the 60s for the first time in her career.
Fullbrook’s 36-hole total of 136 is her best collegiate score for the first two rounds of a tournament in her career as a Seminole.
