The Florida Highway Patrol and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue are on the scene of a fatal vehicle crash on I-275 southbound that left a car fully engulfed in flames on Saturday Morning.

Crews arrived at mile marker 30 on the highway, where the vehicle was on fire after hitting a pole. It is unknown at this time how many victims were transported to the hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol has closed 3 of the 4 lanes of I-275 Southbound, and traffic cameras show drivers getting off the 4th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. exits off I-275 for detours.
