JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced on Saturday the “quick arrest” of a man has been arrested after police say he killed his father in the cities Eastside.
JSO says officers responded to a shooting, which happened at a home in the 1200 block of Grant Street at around 4:50 p.m. on Friday, March 20.
Upon arrival, officers reportedly found the victim, who has been identified as 50-year-old Michael Johnson, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
