TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Greek festival kicks off from Oct. 24 to 25 on the lawns of the ‘Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church.’
Attendees can experience the sounds and sights of Greek culture as the decade-long festival tradition continues.
Greek Food Festival volunteer Stephanie Joanos said it’s a family tradition and there’s no secret to what makes it all work.
“The food, definitely, and just us coming together as a family, as a community. I think people just love it,” Joanos said. “My dad used to share, be the chairman of the Greek Food Festival for years before he passed. So this means a lot to us.”
The festival runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For those driving, one helpful tip is to carpool if you can. While there is plenty of parking, it can get congested.
