TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One person died early Saturday morning after their vehicle collided with a Target store, according to Tallahassee Police.
In a statement shared to social media just before 2 a.m. Saturday, the police department announced that it was investigating a single-vehicle crash.
Preliminary information revealed that the vehicle collided with a Target store located on West Tennessee Street, police said.

At that time, the police department initially said that the driver “sustained serious injuries.”
However, TPD confirmed to WCTV Monday afternoon that the driver died at the scene.
The crash caused portions of the parking lot to close temporarily that day.
